In 2020, NYSHealth awarded Lifespan of Greater Rochester a grant to pilot a model for treating geriatric addiction that aims to decrease substance misuse and improve health outcomes among older adults.
New York Immigration Coalition, Inc.
In 2020, NYSHealth awarded the New York Immigration Coalition a grant to continue addressing federal policies that restrict health care access and coverage for New York State-based immigrants and their families.
Research Foundation for the State University of New York
In 2019, NYSHealth awarded the Research Foundation for the State University of New York a grant to pilot a deprescribing program for elderly patients in long-term care facilities in Central New York.
Hudson River HealthCare, Inc.
In 2019, NYSHealth awarded a grant to Hudson River HealthCare to pilot and evaluate an innovative intervention program for reducing opioid-related abuse.
Physicians for Human Rights
In 2019, NYSHealth awarded Physicians for Human Rights a grant to coordinate with New York State health professionals on helping refugees and asylum seekers to obtain medical documentation of the harms they are escaping.
