In 2021, NYSHealth awarded United Way of New York City a grant to implement a program to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates, improve health outcomes, and address health disparities in Black communities in New York City.
The Research Foundation for SUNY, University at Albany
In 2021, NYSHealth awarded the Research Foundation for SUNY, University at Albany, a grant to test an alternative response model for nonviolent behavioral health crises.
Auburn Community Hospital
In 2021, NYSHealth awarded Auburn Community Hospital a grant to help establish a residency program to address physician shortages and improve health care access for rural residents in Central New York.
The Arc of Monroe
In 2021, NYSHealth awarded The Arc of Monroe a grant to help improve the delivery of care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who identify as LGBTQ.
Independent Health Foundation
In 2021, NYSHealth awarded Independent Health Foundation a grant to support pediatric providers and families in meeting children’s physical and emotional development needs in Western New York.
