Overview
The New York State Department of Health County Health Indicator Profiles include demographic data from 2002 to 2006 on health and non-health indicators such as unemployment, household income, pregnancy, mortality rates for several different kids of cancer, suicide, and liver cirrhosis, which is highly correlated with alcohol use.
Drug-related hospitalization rates and disease morbidity are also available for each county in New York State.
