Aligning Diabetes Incentive Programs Among New York’s Health Plans

This policy brief, prepared by NYHealth’s Diabetes Policy Center, emphasizes the importance of incentive programs to encourage best practices in diabetes care. The Policy Center will publicly recognize plans that use incentive and reward programs to achieve effective diabetes management and encourage widespread adoption of this strategy across New York State.

The endorsements will help consumers, providers, and employers alike identify the health plans that encourage the best diabetes care by offering the most effective incentive programs. It also will help health plans make improvements to their existing incentive programs.
