Special Projects Fund Intern
As the Special Projects Fund Intern, Victoria Casani works collaboratively with the Program Officer and Program Assistant to identify and support projects that address important health care and public health issues in the State but that are outside of the Foundation’s priority areas.
Prior to joining NYSHealth, Ms. Casani worked as a physician office assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), an institution dedicated to treating and researching cancer. At MSKCC, she served as an assistant to both the chief and clinical director of the renal service of the Department of Medicine. In addition to her internship with NYSHealth, Ms. Casani serves as a student health executive member at New York Medical College, where she helps raise awareness of public health issues.
Ms. Casani holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Fordham University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree from the New York Medical College School of Health Sciences and Practice, with an expected graduation date of May 2018.
