As the Communications Intern, Haein Sung works to support the Foundation’s marketing and communications initiatives. Ms. Sung assists the communications department in maintaining the Foundation’s website and editing NYSHealth written materials, publications, and grant outcome reports.
Prior to joining NYSHealth, Ms. Sung worked as a research coordinator at Biological Rhythms Research Laboratory, a leading human circadian rhythms (sleep) research laboratory. In addition to her internship with NYSHealth, Ms. Sung is currently a research assistant at the Columbia Aging Center and a writer with Go Ask Alice!, Columbia University’s health and wellness Q&A website.
Ms. Sung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Loyola University Chicago. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with an expected graduation date of May 2017.
