As Program Associate, Bronwyn Starr is part of the Improving Clinical Care initiative of NYSHealth’s New York State Diabetes Campaign. Ms. Starr works closely with the Foundation’s Clinical Director to provide training and technical assistance to grantees and their health care teams.

Prior to joining the Foundation in September 2010, Ms. Starr ran the Medication Adherence Project: Tools for Improving Self-Management at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Ms. Starr also worked in the reproductive health sector, with Planned Parenthood of New York City, where she helped develop an online evaluation toolkit for international reproductive health organizations.

Ms. Starr holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon and a Master of Public Health Degree from New York University.
